The Matrix and Simulations

In the year 19 99, when the matrix came out, there was several other movi lots ind relations. One was called the thirteenth floor, which was based on an old novel by daniel gale dog eacae crons ad, lost name. The purpose of these simulations was to do market research and see how people would react to doing different things. If they knew they were being simulated, or if they know they're inside a simulated, they wouldn't react normally to it. And therefore the whole purpose of doing market research was wasted.
