What Do You Think of Jefferson as a Character in a Play?
Stephan delane is the actor who played jefferson, and i think he completely nails im. He has some of the qualities that i've told directors of the play that he's kind of a combination of mister spock and sherlock holmes and ashley wilkes. And so he is very quiet in the continental congress. But also, he was just this incredibly cerebral person who was thinking so much. I wonder if there is something also about being writers that when they look at a text, it was something that they couldn't resist getting their hands in and revising it.
