Reading Recovery - The Study Was Good News for Reading Recovery
Reading Recovery Council of North America posted the study on its website, celebrated the results. This was one of the largest studies ever of an education intervention program. It was paid for with a grant that Ohio State got from the federal government in 2010. The private funders were not disclosed but through a public records request, we were able to learn that one of them was Gay Sue Penel.
