There have been studies that have used smartphones as a way to savor. Dr. Pressman: I think it doesn't have to be a bad thing but what we also know is that having your phone with you all the time can take out of the moment. He says if you do film it and you're able to keep reliving it over and over again, you're getting a positive emotion boost from that.
