Aubrey's Gazelle

Aubrey lived in Athens with Agree, a woman so beautiful that she might have been the model for a painter. She often accompanied Aubrey in his search after antiquities and would paint him scenes of her native place. Her earnestness and apparent belief of what she narrated excited the interest even of Aubrey. But he decided to him the names of old men who would at last detected one living among themselves.
