i came in on monday morning, and i had an entire population of medium term trend followers. A medium term foller is essentially just a very old, very well known, popular investment strategy already. The point being he already knew how to do that. He didn't need to build an elaborate machine earning system to figure out how to do it. So that sort of shows you one issue with a i, which is, if you ask sothing to search for a way of making money, it might just come back with some way you already know about. Even with all the financial data out there, quant like yowand runs up against the limits of aay pretty quickly.
