The Hour at Which Mr Dean Left Mr Rich's House
Mr. Dean went to call at the house of Mr. Rich, the cashier of the Manadnock Bank at East Jaffery. As Mrs. Dean became physically handicapped Mr. Dean continued to exchange visits going to riches alone. It is assumed that he drove up the road in his road cart on his way home but several people saw him and one or more heard a team go by during this visit. The time may be some dispute as to the hour at which Mr. Dean left Mr. Rich's house that night.
