Leon Black once paid a world record of nearly $120 million at auction for one of the four versions of the Scream by Edward Munch. Apollo has always had a reputation of being more aggressive than most willing to enter into transactions or conduct itself with counter parties in a way that is more aggressive than others. He loves collecting art, Turner, Raphael, Picasso, Van Gogh. As well as the art collection, he's got a string of homes, including one Gatsby style in the Hamptons. For his 60th birthday party in 2011, he hired Elton John to play a 90-minute set for them.
