Why Do People Go to Church?
'I think the larger problem is explaining religion,' he says. 'It's so big a concept, entails so many different things, that it can't have one cause.' He thinks most believers don't go to church because of cosmological arguments or fine-tuning argument. But they do for all sorts of reasons - including free parking and moral homily at end of sermon.
