Anthropologist Audrey Smedley defined racial worldview as believing and acting in accordance with the social convention that people can and should be regarded as members of one or more of a handful of nebulous, restrictive, contradictory subspecies called races. "Once you see it and it becomes an object, the question becomes, what can we do to get off that race," he says. 'What I call that is de-racialization'
