The timing seems really bad here, because the fed is going all out, guns ablazing. We're talking about a full percentage point increase right at a time when it looks like inflation really has peaked. This was part of the reason that the c p i print this this week was so crushing. Lak, the fed is not going to stop until they see inflation, published, inflation from the bureau of labor statistics, coming down in a meaningful way.
