A lot of people in Milwaukee look down their nose at ambition. They think that the people who are ambitious or not content with what they have are ungrateful. It's this old blue collar mentality where you should just be happy that you have a job. We're not in that world anymore. But the tentacles of that mindset still exist and where they exist most toxically is in the relationship between the people who have that mindset and their kids.
