Lewis and Clark were the first white Europeans to travel to the Pacific coast. A Native American woman named Sacagileia helped guide them who was only, she was a teenager at the time. Sackage away is actually more famous outside of the US than Lewis and Clark. They made it the colonization of the rest of the continental US possible.
