Marduk wanted to be the king of the planet so bad he started a war to take over kingship before his anointed time. Pharaoh Akonaten, once he got these orders directly from Amunhotep, then was told to go around and begin to deface all the other gods. He made rules that if anybody were to worship another god other than the sun disc, Amunrah, 10, that they would be murdered,. That's where it really came from.
