Is There a Cost - Based Discrimination?
In India, we don't have a broad based anti-discrimination law. The burden of proof is very high in that and also the whole system needs to be sort of militates against a conviction because the police will not register a report. So while it's an important act, it doesn't cover microaggressions or daily acts of discrimination. And so there is, I mean, our legal system, that's another problem, but my point is that even as just even in principle, there is no anti- Discrimination Law whether it's about caste or gender or disability Or anything else for that matter. We haven't come anywhere close to solving the problem and it's just a muddy swimming
