The Negatives to Buying a House in 2023
Real estate investors actually don't mind getting a mortgage at a high rate if they can get a purchase price at a much lower price. As mortgage rates decline demand for housing increases thereby helping push up home prices. If we fall back down into a deeper recession or a recession that's worse than expected thanks to you know the fed funds rate going to five to five and a quarter percent then I expect housing market demand to slow.
