Is There a Difference Between Orthodoxy and Contested Books?

What's known as orthodoxy is premised on the suppression or negation, right? Of a sort of hidden heterodoxy. But for the sake of ecclesiasticture, and we shall be sceptical of orthodox a sort of teaching, because it used power to suppress these other teachings which may or may not be wrong. Don't become christianity purely because somebody in a position of power oppressed somebody else at some point,. something like that.
