The White House Says the Southern Border Is Secure
A new poll shows that 63% of Americans want a debt deal that reduces overall federal spending. 58% of Democrats actually think that this deal should reduce spending too. Only 19% of Americans agree with Mr. Biden's position that there should be what's called a clean debt ceiling vote, meaning raise the federal debt limit without any reductions in spending.
