The Fifth Principle of Predestination

The Catholic Church traditionally claims that God offers the possibility of salvation by grace to all. This idea is contained in scripture overtly in the apostolic teaching of 1 Timothy 2. It was a teaching of Leo the Great although there is ambiguity as to whether Augustine entertains the idea.
