Passion Economy - I Love That It's All Right
In the old models of market places in the gig economy, the incentives were structured in such a way where providers didn't really have any control over their work. And I think the major contrast that that has with what I call the passion economy is that creators and providers on these new platforms now do have ownership over their own work. Even if most of them make very little money, there is a chance to be mega successful,. No one is dictating what they make or create; it's inherently pretty motivating.
