The film is set during the dawn of man. It's a movie that's very much in conversation with this film. Technology immediately leads to violence and accidents. The first act of, they take a tool and the first thing they do with it is show dominance over another group. They're killing beasts. And then you see them eating raw warthog or whatever. Basically, they use it for food. I mean, warthogs gotta eat.
