Is It Just Inflation?
We're paying moreand more for health care, education, anything that has a service component is shooting way up. Food and gas are historically more volatile, so inflation goes up and down. If you take what's called core inflation, where you pull gas and out inflations like four point five %, so from most of these retail categories. A, it's part of the story. But it definitely would be a mistake to discount all this growth and say, oh, it's just inflation.
