Common Causes of Upper GI Bleeding
Gastroenterologists are treating less duodenol and peptic strictures because people aren't developing those severe, severe ulcers that result in stricturing. Less common causes like dulaphoy's lesions are something to think about. A very common cause of upper GI bleeding is arteriovenous malformations or AVMs. From the colon, our biggest concern is going to be for cancer. We're also statistically looking for things like bleeding diverticulae.
