The Lord Is With David in the Second Half of Genesis

Joseph is the only Genesis character to prosper in a foreign land. He doesn't do anything wrong, but wrong stuff gets done to him. In some ways, what happens to him next is kind of what's already happened to him. The Lord causes everything that David does to prosper. And there's something of that even today as God's people are afflicted and persecuted.
