The Implications of Court Expansion
There's nothing in the Constitution that fixes the number of justices on the Supreme Court. Any law like this would right now be subject to the filibuster, which means you need 60 votes in the Senate. Of course, the Democrats wouldn't respond if Republicans add seats. They just like holds them hearings and like sends a mean tweets.
