New York City Cannot Have a Coal Fired Oven

It is not illegal to install a coal burning oven in New York City. Coal fired ovens are legislated the exact same way that wood burning furnaces and fireplaces, any solid fuel burning furnace has to be vented properly. If your building is too tall, you can't safely ventilate. You'll have a creoside build up which means that you're going to get this solid that might fall back into your fire and burn down the whole building. Shorter buildings can.
