Is Cryptococcal Meningitis a Fungal Infection?
In many parts of Africa, the most common form of meningitis is a fungal infection. In patients with weakened immune systems, it can disseminate and spread around the body. It can also enter the nervous system and cause a very devastating form ofMeningitis. Just the yeast growing. The yeast growing in the food. In the brain.
