I have to say that the past four or five years have really soured me on the potential of public funding for media. I am really scared bout what that might look like and how that might become another point of contest. So i don't think that we really want government subsidy. And pretty much every state in the united states has a right wing digital first outlet. There's a possibility that if we do some sort of data privacy, anti trust break up sort of stuff it could be a nice reset.
