We need to focus on flooding the students with loads of comprehensible imput in a compelling, interesting way that provides them with autonomy. We should be thinking about what is it we're trying to communicate? And then we can figure out how to do that as at pause to go on and now you can have a go at it. To hook students in, we need to give them autonomy. That's why these co created stories, or invisible characters, or the movie talks, or the picture talks,. They work so well because the students have some autonomy - they feel like they can put some of their life into the things that they're learning. So for me, that's really so important
