What's the Difference Between Discovery and Qualification?

I think there's often a confusion of discovery versus qualification. Qualification to me is just needs to be thrown right out the window. I'm in the business of providing solutions that exactly fit, and if you don't meet certain criteria then it doesn't make sense for us to keep talking.
