How to Limit Yourself to a Three Color Palette

You can only have 64 individual sprites on a screen at a time. So for example Mega Man if you look at Mega Man sprite Mega Man's body is made up of three colors right. But his face is a different color and you're like wait a second how did they get that additional color? Well what they did was they actually have two sprites laid on top of each other. And so don't rotate those sprites too fast because it'll explode when you open them. That it will render otherwise you start getting the flickering.
