The Future of Higher Education
i'd like to talk about this and hear what you have to say about it. Moore says that the destiny of education is intimately bound up with the question of social leadership. If college can be made once more a breeding place for a natural aris cracy, it will inevitably degenerate into a school for mechanical apprentices,. or into a pleasure resort for the genestre. So put simply, there are three destinies for the college in america. It can be one of three things. And i'd like to see whether you think where college has on according to this scheme, on whether you think this is a complete picture or not.
