Is Formalization a Good Approach to Psychoanalysis?
Lacan: The sun is not revolving around the earth. That's it on the basis of science data and perception. It doesn't make sense. And that has to do also with basically, well, the sun is not moving around us. Galileo is fundamental for Lacan because of like, well, letters and numbers. He was no longer so confident in the fact that a certain kind of formalization can be applied specifically to say, for instance, like the formation of psychoanalysts.
