Is the Carthaginian War a Mystery?

The Carthaginians did have like pretty advanced shipbuilding capabilities and they did shipbuilding almost like in a factory so you knew it would be something like numbered but anyway so the the Romans put out one fleet but they use greenwood so they basically sank. There's really only one source even on the roman side which is the greek polybius uh there were a lot of sources on the Carthaginian side but they were all very systematically destroyed i mean the Romans destroyed the Carthaginia literature the way the Spanish destroyed the Aztec records he says.
