Gnosticism and the Afterlife
Gnosticism doesn't have the idea that you see in other branches of Christianity of heaven and hell. It's hard to know from various Gnostic groups what they actually thought about something like the afterlife. But it is pretty clear that some thought that Gnostics would have a spiritual existence where they return to the play Roma.
