The Importance of Salience in Epistemics
This reminds me of a recent Slatester Codex newsletter where Scott talks about how if you look at the left-wing media and the right-wing media, it's not that they tend to lie. It's actually much more common that they just focus on certain facts at the exclusion of other facts. So what does it look like to do better at epistemics then? Because if it's largely an issue of salience, like, well, is there an objective right salience? Is there a way to push towards a kind of more balanced salience? Or what's your thought on that?
