The Sanhedrin's Misunderstanding of Jesus
LZ Granderson: By forgiving sins, Jesus either is blaspheming as a man who made himself God's equal or he is speaking the truth. LZ: The members of the Sanhedrin were thus acting at the same time out of ignorance and the hardness of their unbelief. He says we recognize that Jesus is accepted by Christians not because he is a wise person, but because he is God incarnateBecause he is God himself. That his identity is in his divinity, right? And we recognize this because of the fact that Jesus demonstrates he proves that he is who he says he is.
