Why Esther Was Written

CNN's John Sutter asks why the Bible was written. He says some religious traditions say, well, because it actually happened and we're recording historical data. But that doesn't seem to be true in the Bible, he says. "God has preserved this historical record for us so that we can understand God's history," writes Sutter.
