The Nine Caldrons
The cauldron was a symbol of some one's power or political dominance, right? And in this case, theyre nine of them, becas there were nine caldron, caldrons for the nine provinces. If a dynasty is virtuous, then the caldrons would become so massive that they would be almost impossible to lift. It was said that when the the chow people overthrew the shang, it took 90 thousand men to lift a single cauldron. One of the cauldrons just immediately flew into the river.
