Is Money a Prime Example of Happiness?
We have the wrong idea about what could make us happy, says Ray. Money is a prime example of this; we all think buying more stuff will make us happy. All these good things give us a teeny boost of happiness but that boost is less big than we think. How long is temporary? Ye, it depends on, you know, the effect, right? Youknow, if you hit the lottery, that might be different. But in every case at's been studied, pretty much whatever we predict the happiness boost is going to be, it's less than that.
