The Importance of Ethnicity in My Life
My English isn't good and my Chinese also isn't really that good because I've missed both formative years. Growing up my idea of being Asian American was I thought all Asians in America Came because of war. It was like so foreign to me to meet people in college like yourself Where I was like oh you can have parents who came here for school or like came here for college Or they were already here. So that was really when I started Understanding more about how my experience itself was like unique to me and that Being Asian American is not necessarily the same thing for everyone.
