How to Use Variation in the Practice Phase
variation in two phases of a learning episode the first is often my work to example and I'm going to write about this in tips for teachers. The other time I regularly use variation is in the practice phase so my intelligent practice sequences and my new variation spider sequences all of which you can find on my variation theory dot com website. A really talented ECT just this last week put it to the test and she was using it for an interior angles of a polygon. She did a worked example on finding the each size of an angle in a regular pentagon with kids looking at it as they were working out their answer.
