In the Upanishads, Yamma or death serves as a bridge between less conscious limited worldview from the Vedas and complete one of Vedanta. Abhijit says, the ravarashtam in the midst of misery, why is misery highlighted? Why not joy or just experience itself? It could be, but right now we are seeking all this in the midstof misery. We are in some sorrow, and we know there is sorrow here, and that's why we are seeking for a solution. And the pointing out is that here itself, not somewhere else, now itself, not some when else. So here and now is this mess which we find ourselves in, here
