The Performance Implications of a Proof
A verification, you know, in the published er snarks, is around nine milly seconds. It's much more time consuming to generate a proof than just to run a computation. But of course, you have to pay for being able to prove something. And i would say that within a few hours, you could get a computation that's roughly something like a million cycles of a simple a machine. That's roughly where we get stuck in terms of ram consumption.
