The book echoes many of the themes that we see in saiah and hoseah and hezekiah and amos. They were all prophesying to a people who had not just turned to idolatry, but who had welcomed injusticeAmicas focus was on the southern kingdom ruled by judean kings,. There was much conflict in the region before god called micah to prophesy. The judaean people hoarde after other gods which only added to the problem. That makes hearts of stone and brains of mushy minds. And as we often say on this podcast, this is what we see in God's history.
