backdoor exists in encryption algorithm baked into radios sold for commercial use and critical infrastructure. It would allow someone to snoop on communications to learn how a system works, then potentially send commands to the radios that could trigger blackouts or halt gas flows. Not all the issues can be fixed in the patch, and it's not clear which manufacturers have prepared them for customers.
