Is There Any Clarity on What Went Into David Stern's Decision?

When Stern stepped down, there was some speculation that maybe he was just biting his time for some other bigger market team job to open up. We don't know that that's happened yet. It may be the Mets just their content to sit and wait and let his contract run out. When that happens, then they'll be free to negotiate with them and maybe he'll want to go back. And that's not to say that David wasn't David also is a great guy.
