The Inscription of Herodian in Palmyra

There is a dedication to his son, Herodian, which was erected in the colonnaded street of Palmyra. It seems to have been the result of some kind of victory against Shapur. And it says this is to the king of kings, having received possibly the royalty near the Orontes crowned for victory over the Persians. There is attestation of these titles and they're being used in the local context there.
