Angie Cevallos: I was definitely a weird kid. My family are Yoruba's, there was always this kind of undertone of like the mystical kind of haunting our daily life. We made going off into corners and discussing dreams, talks of spell work. And it kind of acted as like a gateway drug for me into the weird and the mysterious. She says her interest in politics and social commentary is an outgrowth of her interest in mysticism.
