Federalist 51: The Argument for Separating Powers
In federalist 51, the framers of the U.S. Constitution argue that there needs to be a separation of powers in order for government to function properly. They also say it is important to guard one part of society against the injustice of the other part. Ohio has basically voted to uphold this argument by backing an anti-separation of powers bill.
